Fun fun fun with a side of fun is exactly what I had with Madeline and Adam on our engagement session date 😉 And I would not expect anything less with getting to spend the day with a loving couple and Disney. Maddy and Adam have known of each other for quite some time but not till years later did they reconnect and find out they were a match made in Disney. Their first date was at Downtown Disney where they met at the entrance steps of Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba. It was there that they spent many dates, meals, and anniversaries celebrating their love and later became the location that would stage their special proposal. Adam coordinated for 3.5 months with family and friends across the globe as far out as Israel. After a 20 minute private ground tour of Cirque du Soleil they waited in the lobby where their friend strolled out with a guitar in hand playing “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. As Maddy and Adam danced, out poured from the theater curtains groups of family and friends. Down on one knee Adam went asking Madeline, “will you marry me?” Too excited to wait, she said yes and grabbed the ring to place on her finger! Its hard to think we all have to wait till 2017 for these two to walk the aisle.
Sometimes we get lucky… and when looking for that future someone we find them in our best friend and working just 5 feet away. I mean it only makes sense to share your life with the one that makes you laugh, be a better you, and want to spend all your time with. Heather and Owen will be walking down the aisle in what seems like forever, but will be here before we know it and I could not be more honored that they have chosen me to capture such a special day. Owen proposed on horseback while on a very romantic anniversary date! He did good, and how could he not after personally designing Heather’s one of a kind engagement ring? I had a great time capturing these two for their engagement session, and I believe everyone around enjoyed our company.
There is no better way to get to a girls heart then to take her to an Orlando Magic game! So, that is exactly what Jared did with Sam and won over every quarter of her heart <3 It was only right to head back to the Amway Arena for a sunrise engagement shoot and make pure magic. I can’t wait to be at their December wedding with camera in one hand and a drink in the other to celebrate these two 😉
ps I do not drink and shoot!
This soon to be beautiful bride has a special place in my heart. I could bore you with all the details but she has worked her way into my family and I could not be more happy for her and her future. I am super stoked we made this session happen with all the hoops we had to jump through but in the end it was more than worth it. So, congratulations to Wendi and Aaron the soon to be bride and groom.
For those of you that do not know Pitch Perfect 2 comes out today, which is a big deal for our lovely couple Teresa and Eric!
I officially met these two at their Winter Park engagement session over some coffee. Sometimes my meet and greet with the bride and groom to be tends to run a little long. Well, our coffee date lasted quite a while as the three of us sat and laughed about life for what felt like days. Our immediate connection helped make for a great wedding day, with lots of laughs. It was a beautiful memorable day, and the wave of emotion was incredible. The moment Teresa stepped into her dress she became a true Bella and by the genuine smile on Eric’s face, he approved. This beautiful new family is in perfect harmony and I am super excited to be there for them!

“Real unadulterated nerds” is the quote these two used to describe themselves! This was my first time meeting with soon to be husband and wife Teresa and Eric and they are more than a good time for a photographer. They met through some mutual friends and both admit that it was a bit rocky at the start. But the heart knows what it wants and they found common ground in their “odd” musical preferences. According to the beautiful couple they bored their company but lost the time enjoying conversation about pretty much everything under the sun…..which was coming up by this time. These two are clearly made for each other and go through life together laughing and singing with perfect pitch. Fast forward to today and Teresa has a beautiful personally designed by Eric engagement ring on her finger! Getting to know these two was definitely a pleasure and I am super excited to work with them on their wedding day in March at the Grand Bohemian. They are going to make a beautiful family!
I have a super fun couple to introduce to you today, meet Chris and Brooke. You can find them out on the water or just being the two goofballs they are eating at their favorite restaurant and enjoying each others company. Spending just one short afternoon on the water with them was all I needed to see the great passion they have for each other. I am beyond excited and truly honored to be there for them on their special day.
From the moment I met Andrea and Josh I knew they were a perfect fit. They met in the College of Music at Florida State in 2004 and vaguely remember that they both grew up in the same small town of Vero Beach. They both love music, both play music, are both teachers , love each other and the list goes on! Josh will do whatever it takes to keep their relationship a love story and with that being said… after a quiet dinner one cold night at Bonefish Grille he surprised Adrea with a “flash mob” proposal to Treasure by Bruno Mars. As they were walking, music started to play and Josh’s students came out of the bushes one by one as Josh looked just as surprised at Adrea. One of Josh’s students handed Josh his saxophone and THE RING! Josh started playing with the group and at the end of the song got down on one knee and asked Adrea to be his wife. Through all of her disbelief and squeals, she said YES! I am so excited for their wedding later this year, with chemistry like this I know there is great music to be made!
Happy May! Please meet Casey and Brad who’s wedding blog is very soon to come. For this very special couple I had the pleasure to travel to North Carolina to capture their big day. Well, since I got there early we scheduled a little (not so little) engagement shoot and I could not be happier that we did! I love finding new locations and Mordecai Historic Park of North Carolina did not disappoint. Stay tuned for Clements wedding 😉
I hope you love boats, boats, and more yachts! Because I’m super excited to share Nicky and Aaron’s engagement session with you! Not only does their life revolve around yachts but so will their wedding day. They will be picked up and dropped off by yacht to and from their ceremony. Nicky first met Aaron at Viking Yachts the summer of 2008 (hence the love for boats). Aaron worked as a mechanic for her Dad at Viking and was asked by Nicky’s father to fix her truck. Which he did because he is awesome! Nicky took a summer job at Viking also detailing and pretty much spent the rest of the summer chasing him around the boat yard. To top off this perfect little love story Aaron proposed 25ft under while scuba diving in the Keys! Lets just say I cant wait to share their wedding with you in July!
